Who are we
About us
At TCG Codex, we understand the passion and excitement that comes with collecting (trading) cards, we do it ourselves as well! The biggest hassle of collecting cards, is to keep track of what you have, and more importantly where. This is where we step in...
Our platform was born out of a love for collecting cards and the desire to have an easy way to manage our collections. We know how important it is to keep track of every card you own, to know where they are, and of course to show them off every now and then.
Apart from showing off, our platform was built with more in mind. It should not only be easy to keep track of your collection, but also to have one place to find all information you might need about a card, or a set of cards. This is why we don't only have the tools for you to keep track of your collectibles, but we also offer a huge database with information about all cards you could ever think of.
- Collections: You can create multiple collections, so you can categorize your collectibles. Each collection can be marked as private, or public.
- Variants: If you have the same collectible multiple times, but they are a different language or quality, you can keep track of them separately.
- Multiple Games: Are you collecting more than just Pokemon, Magic: the Gathering or Lorcana? We got you covered! We're continuously adding new games to our database.
- Detailed Information: All cards in our database have their information indexed. This way you can read up on any of your missing cards.
- Price Information: When available, we show prices from the biggest market places on the internet, for both Europe as well as the United States.
- Wishlist: Is your collection incomplete? Add these cards to your wishlist, and you always have a list handy when you're trading.
- Checklists: If you don't want to keep your phone at hand all the time, we offer printable checklists of all sets in our database.
- Badges: What's better than collecting things? Collecting more things! Of course it's just a gimmick, but using our platform earns you badges that show up on your profile page.
These are just some of the features we offer right now. We know this is a hobby project, but we're so committed to collecting, that we're thinking about new features before the previous ones are built, so there is always more to come!
Timeline
Below is our timeline for the first full version of TCG Codex. Not all plans are scheduled in the timeline, but that doesn't mean we're not planning on adding them. Some of the features are in early stages of development, others are still ideas. Other plans in the near future is the addition of extra games, for example Magic: the Gathering. Check back every now and then to stay up-to-date on our progress. You can join our Discord server to stay in touch.

Free and Premium plans
As much as we strive to provide every collector with the seamless experience of our platform, certain functions require a lot of resources and investment on our end. By offering some of these as part of our premium subscription, we are able to keep developing our platform, and keep our servers operational. While we aim to release all features to all users, free users will be limited in some cases. Check out our Premium page for full details.
